Back spoke broke
This is no joke
Tried to fix but tire went flat
Not much could do with that
Reserve bike off the rack
Heavy frame hard on back
Today's the day
I know people pray
Almost took a nasty fall
Truck bumped me against a wall
The hand of God was clear to see
Only the 2nd bike could have saved me!
Lots of rocks, lots of gravel
Made it very hard to travel
My bike slipped out from under me
Sent me flying, skinned my knee
Hardest ride of my life
Should be home with my wife!
