What is it like to pastor at the same church for 32 years?

I study the Word and I pray,
So I can help to point out the Way.
Meetings with people throughout the day,
Counsel to those whose nerves have frayed.
Encourage the staff to work and pray,
Careful at home to do what I say.
Loving my neighbor, come what may,
Building a church that’s here to stay.
32 years have passed us by,
Many things still yet to try.
A brand new life people have found,
A joy to know they’re heaven bound.
Friends and families have been made,
The poor receive financial aid.
Righteousness has been declared,
For the hurting we have cared.
The Bible here, has been read,
Try to obey what God has said.
Songs and music we do love,
Giving praise to God above.
And now to the future we must look,
With guidance we’ll get from His Book.
God is in control of this church,
Vineyard for the lost will always search.
From this path we will not fall,
Till that day we hear His call.
