Genesis Chapter One and Two

Genesis is one of my favorite books. It lays the foundation for the entire bible, everything we believe has its roots in Genesis. Starting with the literal creation story. God actually did create everything in six twenty four hour days. I have yet to meet an educated person who actually read good scientific research on creationism and still believed in evolution. Only close minded people can continue to believe in the theory of evolution once they do the research. Check out answersingensis.org if you have an open mind and want to truly do some research on the science of creationism. How about this: we know where we get our month (moon rotates around the earth) we know where we get our 24 hour day, (earth rotates on its axis) we know where we get our year (earth rotates around the sun) So where do we get a seven day week? Why not a five day, or an eight day week? It started with the creation story, with God establishing a healthy way of living, 'six days shall you work and rest on the seventh" God rested not because He was tired, He rested to give us an example.
